Sentinel (Joshua Morse)

I will love you till my heart starts beating

I met you amidst the sentinel stones

Hold my hand till it grows cold

I fell for the engravings that left you alone

The world may move on, but I remain

I will love you till my heart starts beating

The tears were shed and we were left cold to the bone

The rain had it out for us, I claim

Hold my hand till it grows cold

You mask your pain, but your voice breaks

As you call out to me and I only hear you

So we will love each other till our hearts start beating

You work till you find a fix

Yet it is far more than you can do

Never let go till my hand grows cold

Return to me in that maze of stones

It is our home

I will love you till my heart starts beating

Hold my hand till it grows cold
